The short version
We collect as little as we can. If you give us your email for the newsletter, we use it to send the weekly SaaS review and nothing else. We don't sell personal data, we don't rent the list, and we don't hand it to sponsors.
No accounts, no logins
You can read every review, comparison and alternatives page without creating anything. The site is a set of prebuilt HTML files, so there's no user profile to store, no password to lose, and no login session. minylist sets no cookies of its own; the analytics described under "Analytics" below are the one exception.
Tool submissions and email
The submit a tool form doesn't send anything to a server. It opens your own email app with a message addressed to hello@minylist.com, and you decide whether to send it. If you do, we get whatever is in that email: your address, the tool details and any notes. We use it to review the tool and to reply to you. The same goes for anything you send us directly.
Outbound and affiliate links
Reviews link out to the tools they cover, and some of those links are affiliate links. When you click one, you land on the vendor's site (or an affiliate network's redirect first), and they may set their own cookies to credit the referral. That happens on their side, under their privacy policy, so check it before you sign up for anything. Our affiliate disclosure explains how those links work and why they don't affect ratings.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages get read, where visitors come from and which outbound links get clicked. It sets cookies in your browser and sends Google your IP address, device and browser details, and the pages you view. We use the reports to decide what to review next; we don't use them to identify you, and we don't send Google your newsletter address. You can opt out with Google'sbrowser add-on, or by blocking cookies or scripts from googletagmanager.com.
Fonts and hosting
Pages load the Geist typeface from Google Fonts, which means your browser asks Google's servers for the font files and Google sees that request, including your IP address. Like any website, the host that serves our files may keep standard request logs (IP address, browser, the page asked for) for security and debugging. We don't combine those logs with anything else or use them to profile anyone.

Want to know what we hold about you, or want it deleted? Emailhello@minylist.com. In practice the answer is usually "a newsletter address, maybe an email thread," and we'll remove it when you ask.
Changes and contact
If we add something that collects more data, like accounts, this page changes first and the date at the top moves with it. Questions go tohello@minylist.com.
